Broccoli Cauliflower Detox Soup

-1/2 head of broccoli
-1/2 head of cauliflower
-1 cup celery
-3/4 cup carrots
-1/3 cup onion
-1 clove garlic
-2 pinches fresh parsley
– salt and pepper to taste
– 4 cups of water


Chop and place all the veggies in a pot with the 4 cups of water on the stove. Cover the pot and cook at medium heat for about 15 minutes until they are soft. Let them cool for a few minutes and then place them in a blender with 2 or more cups of the water they were boiled in (depending on how thick you want the soup, add more water). Add the parsley, salt and pepper then blend till smooth. Serve and add parsley as a garnish!


You may double the recipe to store in the refrigerator for further enjoyment.

This recipe goes great with sprouted grain avocado toasted!
